Paprika Design was set up over 15 years ago as a boutique graphic design and marketing company by Jane Henderson. With a background in business (retail, service and manufacturing industries) in marketing, management and human resources her skills ensure our customers get a comprehensive service that suits their business needs. Working with a team of contractors in design, marketing and communications we can deliver not only a pretty design but a thorough marketing strategy. We are passionate about helping businesses and community organisations thrive with great design and communications.

Jane Henderson
Jane is an experienced and talented designer who understands how to effectively market your business. Prior to setting up Paprika Design, her diverse career included starting and running a busy design studio, marketing & product management, staff training and line management roles in the retail environment.
She formed Paprika in 2006 to run as a home based design studio, allowing her to work around the schedules of her 3 children but keep her creativity and business skills engaged. Alongside her business, she embarked on 18 years of voluntary contribution, from re-branding her children's primary school including signage, stationery, marketing collateral, website and uniform design, to large-scale event management, and design work for local educational institutions and many community organisations.

Jane is constantly inspired by the world around her, always looking at the wonder of colour combination, fonts, layouts, texture and white space. However, she is first and foremost a business woman who understands that great graphic design runs deeper than pretty pictures - clients require a design to have meaning and impact to make a profit or raise brand awareness.

She holds a Diploma in Graphic Design with Merit from Media Design School, and a New Zealand Diploma in Business Studies, majoring in Marketing & Management, from the Auckland University of Technology.
When she steps away from her computer, her enthusiasm pulls her towards the serene waters, where she eagerly casts her line in pursuit of that elusive, trophy-worthy catch. Alternatively, she's often engaged in lively conversations and invigorating hikes with friends along the scenic bush tracks surrounding local area.
